All classes are focused on giving students skills they can use later in life, such as early training for a career, social skills, promote a higher self-esteem:

Audition and admittance preparation for Mark Twain Middle School, Frank Sinatra and LaGuardia High Schools, and MFA Drama programs

Good Manners & Social Skills class helps students learn table manners in a real life setting; a properly set dining table. During their lessons students are taught how to ask for items on the table, the art of conversation and listening, introductions and greetings, and many more useful skills. The school is also works with parents by offering a simple set of guidelines to follow at home.

Presentation and Public Speaking students learn how to break bad speech patterns, eliminate fear of speaking in front of people, research and organize ideas, and present ideas and topics in public and academics.

Reading Comprehension and Creative Writing essential class for NYS ELA/SSAT/SHSAT Exams and college prep. Students learn how to craft writing, strengthen reading comprehension skills and use various forms of writing. These skills improve literacy abilities, encourage creative thinking and build self-esteem to excel in writing.

Art class gives students knowledge about classic and modern techniques and develop their creativity and imagination.

Fashion Art class helps student learn how to draw the fashion figure, create inspiration boards and design a collection of closing and accessories.

Drama class improves student’s memory, posture, speech and articulation, natural movements and overcome any inhibitory feelings.

Feel Pretty & Confident-A teenage girl’s guide to build confidence through fashion, styling and social skills.

In conjunction with The Fashion Class, The Center hosts fashion design shows, sewing, and styling classes for teens and children.
